Extending gas connections and adapting appliance connections

An additional gas appliance, a new gas boiler or a change of installation location may require modifications to the gas installation. We clarify which connections exist, which appliances should be supplied in future and how the work fits into the overall project. We distinguish between connections inside the building and possible work or coordination at the building’s main connection.

Renewing gas pipes and modernising installations

During building modernisation, parts of the gas installation may be affected alongside the heat source. We consider existing pipe routes, access and the planned appliances. The scope may cover individual pipe sections, adapted connections or several connected areas.

If a gas boiler is also being replaced, we consider the appliance and connection together. For several gas boilers or units, the necessary work can be planned as a coordinated project. Required coordination with the network operator or other parties is clarified during preparation.

A single connection or a larger modernisation project

Even extensive projects start with a clear assessment of the existing installation. Which appliances will remain? Which will be renewed or added? Is further heating, plumbing or alteration work planned? For occupied buildings and commercial premises in use, we also discuss access, contact persons and possible work stages. The sequence of work depends on the property’s conditions.
